All the Planet are Fast and Direct
This Month we have all the planets, and some major asteroids like Chiron, moving fast and direct. This is like the opposite of Retorgrade Season. When the planets are moving fast and direct, the cosmos is tuned into a certain harmony where you can move forward. It’s not that we never experience any problems when the planets are direct, it’s just that what you are dealing with tends to be more straightforward and you can approach problems with a directness. I also notice that time tends to feel like it moves faster when the plants are direct, and during retrograde season the days feel slower and longer.
March 10 – New Moon in Pisces
This is a creative new moon in Pisces that’s happening over the weekend. Pisces is about as soft and squishy a sign as there is, so you could acting in a more compassionate way towards someone, or enjoying an escapist activity that takes you far away from your mundane life. This is a new moon where you could feel connected to something greater than yourself, and it overall looks pretty positive, so try to connect more with others, follow a spiritual path, or get artsy.
March 20 – Vernal Equinox
Happy Aries Equinox! This is my favorite seasonal shift because the days are about to get longer, and I’m definitely a morning person. Equinox means ‘equal night’ in latin, and there are two equinoxes every year – one in the spring and one in the fall. That means that on these two days, there is an equal amount of daytime and nighttime. Equinoxes are considered to be magical across many ritualistic traditions. The Sun hits 0º Aries on this day, which is the beginning of a new journey through the zodiac.
March 22 – Venus Conjoins Saturn
On March 22, the planet of Love, Venus, will be in the same spot in the sky as the planet of testing and commitment,Saturn. Venus is strong in the sign of her exaltation, Pisces, but Saturn is making her checker herself before she wrecks herself. You may get pretty serious about your relationships now, and if you’re actively dating, you could run into someone who has an age difference with you. New relationships started now can have a karmic or fated quality to them too – whether they are romantic or just platonic.
March 25 – Lunar Eclipse in Libra
This is a Penumbral Eclipse – the Moon darkens slightly but not completely – We will see it in North America, Central and South America
While all the planets are fast and direct, we still are beginning a Retrograde Season, so there’s some cosmic shakiness happening. This Eclipse doesn’t seem as cray as some of the other ones coming later this year. First off, it’s a lunar eclipse, and those don’t tend to be as powerful as solar eclipses. The South node is on this eclipse, so that means there is going to be some emotional letting go of something. The Moon is in the sign of Libra so that may definitely affect our relationships and partnerships.
